they better come balanced.
within 1 gram of each other. i would balance them more.
$500 isn't bad for those, that's about what the 1.9 rods cost. Has anyone contacted them about shipping? Some companies are leery of shipping to the US (Brickwerks, for one) because of liability issues.

if you can get them within 25mg of each other they would be the cats ass for B&B engines. IIRC thats what the tractor pull guys use as the max, and they run cum aparts at 9k rpm on average per pull.
Did anyone end up trying these rods?
I asked about these rods and I found the price diff. from the pauter and these to be $250 and they are made in china. So I went for the pauter rods. I ordered them 3 weeks ago. Still have 4 weeks till they get here. There were none in stock so I am getting them right off the press. Will take pictures when they get here.
Pauter's should be awesome!

I look forward to the pics of these. Money well spent right there.
The Pauter rods are cross-beam/X-beam, aren't they? Wouldn't the H-beam design be superior in strength?

It's the same old discussion. Maybe. But I've never heard of a Pauter rod failure. When you look at the construction of a Pauter X-beam rod, espcially where the main body of the rod meets big and pin ends, you'll realize just strong the rod is.

Bumping this one, anyone tried these?
