Pick up a copy of this weeks Indiana auto and RV, or go online to their site. There is a 1991 VW Jetta, Diesel, 5 speed just like yours, same color and all for $1500!!!! IT LOOKS NICE, and it only has 200K mi. on it. I would buy it in a heartbeat, but I just dumped $1000 into my Golf. The car is located in Cambridge City, Indiana.

By the way, NICE CAR!!! IS IT A TURBO.....?

here's a tip if you want a/c and the car is equipped:  all you need is to find a mk3 pulley assembly and AFAIK it will bolt right on to the mk2 compressor and it should bolt right on to the serp setup, but i might be off on this... i'm personally going to swap the ends of the compressors so that i can get the mk2 style to fit the hoses.  i'm going to make a post in the FAQ if this works.

i'm also contemplating electric a/c by installing an electric motor to a compressor mounted somewhere under the hood.. probably near the battery or just relocate the battery and use that space.  its amazing at how much resistance the serp pulley seems to have... or even the v belt style...

but really sweet looking car!  i like the ride height :)  these cars are very well suited to the 1.9 engine, but with a stock tranny it seems like there just isn't enough gears  ;D

Thanks guys, Tom, I found that turbo diesel grille badge and had to run it. I like the rounds better also but I want original ones.  Just put on the T3 tonight boys and it is nasty with PLENTY of gears.  FK streetline coilovers very nice.  I fixed the leaky injectors, Joe.
