FS: '95 Passat Wagon 1.9L AAZ
« on: July 28, 2009, 05:01:25 am »
FS: 1995 Passat Turbo Diesel Wagon. 1.9L AAZ (IDI engine), 5 speed trans. 400 TKM /250K miles. Receipts for the last 200 TKM. Recent glow plugs and brakes. AC works good. PS, PB, PW, PDL, Tilt, Heated seats, Sunroof. Black on grey cloth interior. 15" Estorils with 50% matching Yoko's (IIRC). Good exhaust. Floors and sills solid. Left rear wheel well has a hole otherwise solid. Original paint. Does have typical B4 window scraper rust on doors and the bottoms are scabby too- hey it's a rust belt car w/ 250K!. PS line broken. Bought for engine swap but it's actually a decent car overall and could make a work beater/ daily with a little work.

$1200

I didn't mention in my initial post that this B4V has both a rebuilt Bosch alternator and starter.  The AC compressor is also a rebuild.

Someone asked yesterday about crank wobble.  The pulley seems to run true.  I don't know if it been repaired or if it's one of the rare AAZs that was unaffected?

I realize she's no beauty but I'm quite surprised no one wants a cheap TD wagon?  Did I mention it has both heated seats and AC which by the way both work as they should!

Someone should snap this up, car looks pretty decent. If I wasn't already in the middle of a project to replace my daily (with all the parts bought already), I'd be on it like white on rice! Love the idea of all that space.

I honestly thought I'd be "dumping" at this price.  Someone buy this.

Wish I had a way to get it, I'm looking for one just like it. Would it be hard to get into the states?

If there was an easy way to get it, I live in NB, we would most likely buy it. But its a long ways away :'(

Fly me home and I'll drive it out there. I want to go visit some friends on the East coast
