waste gate adjust on eco diesel?

Can anyone point me to a picture of the wastegate and how its adjusted?
When I pulled the head off my 92 eco diesel to do a head gasket (oil leakage problem) , I noticed that the wastegate diaphram housing has a long set screw with a locknut on it.
I thought ECO diesel was not adjustable - yet this one might be?
Picuture of what an adjustable gate looks like would be appreciated.
I searched faq for waste gate and only found stuff about a 1.9 tdi.

tee a manual boost controller in the line to the wastegate.
or just un plug it all together if you really want it to rip.
you wont have enough fuel to really hurt anything, since you dont have the TD pump.
