PD150 GT1749VB turbo
« on: June 15, 2009, 10:02:02 am »

The compressor wheel and bearings are no good, I took this in exchange for a good unit and knocked $125 off the price for him, I'd be happy just to get that back as this would be ideal for a Hybrid unit! my brother wanted it but i've persuaded him to leave his car alone for a while!!

Cheers

Ryan

That turbo is scrap metal. Not worth more than $10.

not if you are fitting a VNT 20 compressor wheel and rebuilding the thing, saves paying $600 to strip a working turbo!

If the bearings are shot enough for the compressor to make that much contact, the turbine has made contact as well.
