Newbie - to Diesel and the Site
« on: June 09, 2009, 05:27:52 am »
Hi all.

Names Nathan, i'm 28 and live in England.

Currently have a RHD Mk2 Golf GTD 5 Door in Pasadena Blue.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/photo.php?pid=1777525&id=509664095&ref=mf

(hope that link works to those not in uk!!)

Bought it as a cheap runner and stumbled across this site after a few question on
www.clubgti.co.uk/forum
about things with my car.

Have only owner a selection of 8v and 16v GTI's before and total love the diesel.

Car currently has the stock engine (SB code) with stock turbo and intercooler and adjusted fuelling by the previous owner which i'm trying to sort out.

Plans are afot for front mount intercooler, 2.5" turbo back pipe, BOV removal, governor mod etc..as per the guides as and when funds allow.

(oh yeah engine has covered 223000 miles or 358883kms as of this morning and still on stock head and gasket and gearbox!!)

Chassis wise its about to get polybushes, dropped about 70mm on FK AK Coilovers, was 16v 256mm Brakes/Hubs and 16" Porsche 928 Winter Wheels.
