Lots of oil in coolant!!! mk2 Jetta GTD

I believe this is caused by the head gasket but have also been told that with the 1.6 gtd Jetta engine the oil cooler is a common place for it to happen,

if any one on here can give me some advice on the common problems with this engine I would appreciate it,
