FS 1.6 diesel parts, cleaning up CHEAP
« on: May 04, 2009, 05:07:28 pm »
I have assembled a nice pile of 1.6 diesel parts, I don't need it anymore
NON turbo ME code stuff
valve covers $2
oil pans $4
injector cores $1
glow plugs tested working $4
pulleys $2 -cam -crank for t belt -crank for vbelt -waterpump -injpump
intermediate shaft pulley $5 (alloy)
timing belt inner covers $1 steel
timing belt upper covers $1 plastic
intake manifolds $2
air box $2
cylinder heads will provide more details, some rebuilt

Short block, CODE CS from Vanagon diesel with oil squiter for pistons for cooling, $50 each (two)

Short block, CODE MF turbo diesel $50 one only

More to come as I trip over it in the garage. All the parts were inside for the last few years and I just finished/sold my last 1.6 diesel project. I am willing to ship/paypal no problem, I have limited time so I will try my best to be quick/fast, I will be upfront with shipping times etc. I am in the Ottawa Ontario area.

Two rebuilt cylinder heads (resurfaced, valve seals, valve guides if needed, etc, not a top notch rebuild just what was needed) ending in part number M, solid lifter, non turbo probably off Vanagon CS motors.
One sad looking hyd turbo head, part number ends in T, pitted gasket surfaces, no prechambers installed, I might resurface to see what lies beneath right now it is sooty and sad looking

Please let me know about the injector cores. IF they are turbo or not and if they are a dollar a piece I want them regardless. I already sent you a PM Lucas

Hello:
When you say "airbox," do you mean just the lid/top cover or do you mean the base and lid????

Which model of airbox do you have.....the 6 clip (4 plus 2) or just the 4 side clips model??? The 4 clip model opening (where you place the air filter element) sits much more verticle on the manifold AND the 4 clip model is what I am interested in getting (need the base and lid).
The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

I will be adding to the pile this weekend, let me figure out what I have in terms of air boxes and injectors etc. I will take some pics also. I should have some waterpumps too, but I might have tossed them to scrap already.

Test, am having trouble posting.
OK, got it!
Need a crank pulley for 1.6D / 1.6TD with pwr steering.
Need that for a AAZ set-up using MKII V-belt set-up.
Thanks,
Hugh

Hi I am wondering if you have an upper timing belt left before I lose my fingers. I might be interested in a cylinder head depending on what I hear back from my machine shop. Thank you
