Wanted: 1.6D alternator bracket with a/c

I'm looking for an alternator bracket, with a/c, for a 1982 Jetta with a 1.6D (no power steering). My zip is 93940.

do you need the complete bracket set or just the slide part?

I need the bracket that bolts to the engine which allows the a/c to pivot.

I looked in my parts pile and I don't see one  I may be able to come up with a complete Mk2 set including the alternator which IMHO is much better, they will work on Mk1 as well if you are interested in that.

Sorry man I don't have a mounting bracket for an AC car, I have brackets for Mk2's but they don't have the threaded insert where the AC compressor pivots mount. I'll keep looking though.

That would be great. I'm not apposed to ditching the a/c compressor as long as retrofitting the non a/c bracket and belts isn't too costly.

If you want to can the AC compressor I can set you up but you'll have to get an alternator for an 85 to 92 golf/jetta diesel with no factory AC. I can sell you the bracketry for 20 bux plus a flat rate USPS box.
