Don't worry I stayed with a VW, 98 VW Jetta Wolfsburg...for the transmission in my car lol. Who knows I may get another Diesel in the near future. Thanks for All the help you guys have gave me.

Is your Wolfie made in Canada, Mexico, or Germany?
I've got a '98 Wolfsburg as well, & had to replace a plethora of Mexican Bosch parts, as well as the 5-spd trans that lost 5th gear...

Nah, Wolfsburg is a trim level... Usually everything except leather & VR6.
Anyone remember the "Champagne Editions"?

I have the Wolfsburg stock 1.6 diesel. About the only option was A/C and stereo cassette. More like the 'Old English 800' Edition than the "Champagne Edition" you mention...

Stay safe,stay well.Jimmy
