Its a promotional tie-in. VW commercials thru the show-then at the end, a 30 second spot with the crew from Mythbusters looking like they are doing a test-but its just " oh wow! Im still going after 700 miles!"

and i hate how al gore has made the correlation of co2 = greenhouse gas = global warming.  what a total wingnut! where's the lol smiley when you need it??!

40 mpg doesnt seem like much to brag about in a new TDI.  Im getting 39-42 in my 18yr old NA coupe.  Hey wait a min my car is as old as my gf  , guess which one is more fun to drive

yeah 40 isnt really bragging rights considering the 2 and 3 cylinders in europe hit 60mpg... stupid north america..

i just watched the clip! what an advertisement... dang thats a blow to both mythbusters and Vw. I hate it when that happens.
