I was messing with my governor assembly and I lost the little c-clip that holds the springs on. Right now its "band-aid" fixed with a clip that I made out of a washer, but I would like to put a normal clip back on. I'm willing to buy a whole governor assembly. I also could use some new allen bolts that hold the pump top on. If need be I'll buy an entire parts pump if nobody wants to sell only these small parts. Thanks in advance.

Nick - I'm up in Anacortes, and I've got a pump that's trashed (didn't work to start) from me being curious and taking it apart. You're welcome to the whole thing - I can send it to you for the price of postage - it fits in the USPS 7.70 box, or you can swing by this neck of the woods and pick up what you need -

Sounds good Greg. I don't think I'll be up there any time soon, so shipping it sounds best. Is everything there for the pump? Get me an exact amount to send it out and I can send you money through paypal? Thanks a lot man.

The search continues in my epic quest for a measily little c-clip lol. I know there's somebody out there with 6 parts pumps in their garage. If you are one of them, please help a guy out. Thanks in advance.

I don't think I have 6 pumps...maybe 5 or so....but if you still need the c-clip I probably have one.

I could really use one if you can part with it. Would you be willing to sell anymore pump parts such as the lda cap off a turbo pump or NA Elevation Compensation pump? The previous owner stripped out the head on the torx head bolt on top of the pump and I can't seam to break it loose to adjust the residual fuel pressure. I would get this stuff from a wrecking yard if I could, but none of the ones in my area have many vw's let alone a diesel. All your help is appreciated.

I have some LDA pump lids off of Peugeots, but not really the proper linkage for a VW.

I don't need a whole lid. I just need the little cap on top of the lda cone that is held on with 4 straight blade screws.

Sorry, I haven't really been on the board in a few days. So, you just want the LDA lid, some allen bolts, and a c-clip?
