Wanted: Crank Bolt
« on: May 07, 2009, 11:40:06 pm »
I know you can by a bolt at the bus depot as seen here...

http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=N90577101&refer=shoppingcart

but you have to make an account and all this crap. I was wondering if there was someone a little closer to me who could sell me one?
(theman53? I can pay you for the shipping of those bolts you sent me too at the same time!)

Let me know!

the bolt costs $2.66.....don't you have an import parts store somewhere near you?  and even if you don't. thats a torque to yield bolt.....not something you want to buy second hand.  ten dollars might be a lot in zimbabwe, but damnnn......
location:  ashland, oregon US

I've got an extra bolt but it would be cheaper to buy from a worldpac site than for me to ship it across the border I would think. If you really want mine I'll sell it to you for 5$ CDN plus shipping.

EDIT: Whoops, I just noticed you're in BC. IM me if you want me to send it to you.

Thanks fellas. I did try AVR. They are usually REALLY expensive but not this time. It was 5 bucks and some cents. I returned the bolts they gave me that they thought would fit in the crank sprocket to hold on the main pulley but they didn't fit at all. I was only able to return three of the four because the 1 i put in you could see shiny threads on it  ::) Go figure right. And they wanted almost 5$ each for those. Turned out ot be caliper bolts. theman55 sent me the ones i needed. So i actually was given money when i bought the crank bolt and returned the ones that didn't fit.
Thanks guys.

I think I've mentioned it before, VM Autohaus in Burnaby is the place to go.  They've got reasonable prices and all the Etka catalogs there so they can get the right stuff the first time.
