That's a damn good question.

Did you contact that guy that Duane hooked us up with? He was very reasonable on his prices.

Use babelfish.yahoo.com to translate.  I believe Fratelli Bosio makes some good GTD nozzles.  Something like $125 per set.

I never called him....the numbers he listed as "GTD nozzles" were not the same as the 2 numbers I have from Vince write-up.....
I emailed the Germany ebay store.....and I also found a place in the UK that has Bosch OEM DN0SD274's I emailed them and hope to hear back soon...?

what???? I was under the impression the stock turbo and stock GTD were different?
if this is the case then I will just keep my stock Turbo OEM Bosch nozzles(DNO SD273 ) I ordered today from Industrial injection...$28each??????
are you sure the spray and flow on the GTD is the same as stock turbo nozzles???

Yes I'm sure.

The part #'s are different for tracking reasons.

Good find on the tips for $10! You better buy at least 12 so when I need a set I know where to come ;)

Not that this helps right now but - in the future I may be able to offer them, I have a supplier working on pricing right now. If there's alot of interest, I'll buy a bunch.

man do you think you can beat or match that price on those nozzles Myke?
I would rather support you....but I dont expect anybody can match or beat those UK prices.....why the huge price difference between what giles quoted me and the UK company??
UK GTD Nozzles=$10.60 each
Giles GTD nozzles=$70.00 each

why does everybody on the forums say the GTD's are better then the stock turbo nozzles??
why would giles even try to sell me SD274's for $70 each?? when I talked to him he made it sound like they are different?
where did you read or get your info zukgod1??

I can only guess that they either have a huge stock of NOS nozzles that they haven't updated the price on - or that they aren't OE Bosch.

I have no idea on price - I'm still looking into that.

I'd guess Giles's price is more like what I'd be able to offer, I'd guess our supplier is similar.

thanks for the info Myke.....
I think I'm gonna order some 274's and run those..I just called giles...he recommended the stock turbo nozzles just based on price...but he says if I can get the GTD nozzles for that cheap and they are OEM Bosch then I should do it!

he also told me he thinks they are different then the turbo nozzles on the USA diesels...the spray angle is the same..100% sure of that...but nobody according to him knows for sure the difference between theDN0SD274 and say the DN0SD293...the  "0" means 0* spray pattern.

I had a set of OE TD tips and 2 of the "274 GTD" tips.

I had GOFF Injection in SLC flow them along with the Case tip, the 6.5 GM tips and the OE TD tips.

The 6.5, TD and GTD all flowed the same @ 76mm3 pr 1000/st.
The Case tips flowed 80 mm3 pr 1000/st.

I'm thinking the whole "GTD" thing is a mindset. "If they are GTD injectors they have to be better".

It comes down to the fact that we are injecting the fuel into a precup, There is only so much space in there for ignition in the first place so at some point we can inject too much fuel and get an incomplete burn ie; smoke. Now if we were talking direct injection like the TDi engines then the different tips are beneficial as the entire cyl and void in teh piston are used as the prechamber.

The OE TD tips are hard to beat from what I've found.

thanks Dan that's great info....and yes there seems to be a misconception on the whole GTD vs stock TD....

I will probably get some DN0SD274's since they are so cheap....and I wanna see if they are really oem Bosch...

plus it seems like I keep finding random places for parts all over the world..MLS from Thailand...cheap nozzles in the UK....it's kinda like a treasure hunt..lol

If I wanted the most fuel I would have kept the merc tips...but I think I can get what I want with some stock tips and a BIG 10mm or 11mm pump...
