sheer butchery, the slam panel is mainly golf with bits of corrado slam panel riveted in, only bit of corrado panel i used were the bits that hold the bottom of the headlighes in place

that looks tight.. but i kinda like the rounds :P

But it doesn't mean it looks bad! LOL LOOKS GREAT

I agree that it looks really tight but I also still like the look of a set of single rounds on a MKII.

On a dark country road which has the best light out put?

Personally, I think the Hella H4 7½" rounds with a set of 100W/130W Narva bulbs from http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html.  I had a set of these on my '73 bug and when I would turn on the high beams it was like daylight in front of me.  I love the sharp cutoff of the H4's lowbeam since you get great illumination of the right shoulder but you're not blinding oncoming drivers.

can you guys not get uk ebay items over there?
still got the round headlights if someone is prepared to pay the shipping make me a offer they are eccellent condition

Won't work for us Yanks since you Limey's drive on the wrong side of the road  ;D
