put some new shoes on my rabbit.. looks ALOT BETTER imho..
i like the meshies better on the mk1 than i did on the mk2.. but it still handles like crap. no sway bars </3

Those mesh wheels looksweet! I've always had a soft spot for mk1's. Someday I'll have to build one. Nothing as crazy as yours though! :)

enough boost is when you have 3 dimple marks in the hood from the valve cover nuts..  ;D

mine is far from crazy.. i havent modified anything, besides the engine, and a couple badges..

i really want more power.. 20psi/no smoke right now.. im really thinking i could squeeze a little more out of the engine how it is now even. i have a few turns of fuel screw left, and quite a bit of idle adjustment left also.

how do you think a K26 would work together with my VNT? ive been throwing that idea around alot lately..

but neither turbo is wastegated.. so who knows how many psi it will make..

Which position would you say the vanes are locked up in? When would you say that the boost comes on? This sounds like a happy accident that's working well for you.

i took the turbo apart and set the vanes as far open as possible, then put it back together.. it was alot easier to take it apart and just set them where i wanted them, because they were all pretty stuck..
