The guy I was going to have build my downpipe isnt answering my emails. So I am going to figure it out on my own I realize I will need a U bend but not sure what size one to get. Dont want to spend a bunch of money on trial and error and am very new to the fabrication. Anyone have any experience with this?

well it was either use the stock bits or build a new one from scratch. I have found the k03/k04 outlet flange for a decent price so im thinking of picking it up. But so Im going to try the J bends and see what I can figure out maybe tack it together and take it in and have it done right.

I used a single 2.25" mandrel U-bend because that was the size of the turbine outlet on my K14. I think in hindsight I should have used 2.5" or even better - tried to find a quick, smooth transition from 2.25 to 2.5 and gone from there.

ATP seems to have really good prices on stainless mandrel u-bends and flexy sections.
