Ok, I'm doing the mods to my 1.9TD. My question is, in this pic do I just need to run a wire from #4 to #3? My motor didn't have that switch #1 & #2.

yep thats all you need to do.Just leave #4 plugged in and cut its wire it off so that it will reach #3.Then get a new female terminal to splice #3,#4 wires together.Done
