Sorry for the lack of progress reports guys! Been manic over this way! Prototype hardware has been assembled, and fitted to a rather nice extruded ally case measuring a nifty 110mmx80mmx45mm, so is nice and compact, yet extremely rugged

(also, I had a load left over from a previous project......)
Coding is where I'm at now, and really need to kick myself into gear and get going again as I lost momentum with it. A question asked earlier was what language it will be coded in, it will be assembler in this instance.
One point I'm undecided on as of yet is the release of the source code. The hardware I am not concerned about, as that could easily be used to power your toaster! Granted if you were determined enough, yes, it's not rocket science to disassemble but if you can do that you'd have found it far easier to write your own

I know I will get arguments saying I should, and I've used enough open source software myself to know the merits of releasing it. As I say, as of yet undecided.
I'll soon have summat someone can have a fiddle with, so stick with me guys!
