Sunday night I ran out of fuel...I turned it over a couple times and got it going...drove it a bit and had to do it again. The 3rd time around i got it to the station. When I went out today first time since sunday. The car was really hard to start, the motor just turns over but its the sound that its starting(the fast fast turn over) but doesn't start, i cycle the gp's one more time and it started...I cycled the GP's 2 times before trying to start it first and the lowest its been is 3C...whats going on with my poor baby

if you ran out of fuel you probably have lots of air in the injection pump/lines, crack the lines loose at the injectors and crank it until you see fuel coming out at each one.

then start the car, it will run rough for a while so don't be too alarmed.

I got the car running, and drove it for a bit, but I ran the cara 3 times today and it did the same thing the 3 times. i think the IP pump is on its way out...

Might pay to try a fuel filter if you ran it out of fuel... Coulda sucked some crap from the tank..

Yeah, sounds like fuel delivery problem do to the air / crap getting into the system. Get a good filter with integrated water separator. I used a Fram P8043 as it has both and is stocked locally.

Pre-fill it with clean diesel fuel.

I went out this morning to go get my coffee....The car started fine to problems no hesitation....
