There are a few on car-part.com.  Look under 1986-Volvo 740-Engine.  It's not real obvious which ones are TDs, but you can kind of tell when it says "less turbo".

Is the only one volvo Intercooler, have two variations, one with the "exits" at top, can be found in the pre-90 700 series, and the post-90 that have the exits at the middle.

The Large front-mount, Volvo intercooler is in very nice condition.
Core dimensions: 18" X 17" X 2".
Total Dimensions: Upper width (inlet to outlet) 29"; Lower width 23"; 2.5" wide;
Inlet and Outlet diameters = 2.5".
Around 17.5" high.
Aluminum core, plastic tanks, inlet, outlet.

These are the dimensions.  It has the top inlet and outlet.  I don't know how to download pictures here, but here is a link to see it.

http://spokane.craigslist.org/pts/1110501698.html

I have it listed on craigslist for $85, but you can have it for $50 plus shipping.

Let me know if you want it.

nah, im good.. just picked up a super clean unit from the junk yard for 18 dollars. and it was alot closer. and its got the outlets in the middle. and mine is only 14.5 inches tall overall. but it goes all the way across the grille opening. it didnt look so huge until i got it in there. i would definitely never use one in a mk1 ever again. lol
