Whay is the most available (cheaper) large vnt unit?
« on: April 06, 2009, 12:08:38 pm »
Have been doing a bit of looking and reading up on vnt's.  It appears that some units are less expensive then others.  I was thinking it was due to certain units being used on more applications thus there are more available to bring the price down.  vnt15's are cheap, gt1749vb and vc units appear high, while some of the gt20 and above are cheaper.
Does anyone know what the most economical (cheaper) large unit will be?
It looks like the best deals for the bigger units are on German e-bay off of mercedes, bmws, sprinters etc.  Lots of 2359's.
2009 Jetta TDI Loyal edition, 6-spd. 16V 2.0CR

1985 VW Golf 5-spd, 4-door, 1.6NA  Bought from orig. owner in Savannah with 42,000 miles.
"Making the jump NA to TD" slow but sure.

1980 VW Rabbit LS 5-spd, 4-door 1.6NA almost 450,000miles  RIP

Check out the vnt's that came off of sprinter vans. (vnt22?)

Available on ebay for under several hundred dollars...there was one for $150 a while back that didn't sell.
