Diesel to Olds Trans
« on: April 02, 2009, 10:13:37 pm »
Hello

I am new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I would need to do to install a diesel in place of a Olds 455? If I use a BOP Bellhousing would a GM 6.5TD bolt in? How hard would it be to go with a Cummins or Powerstroke? I would love a Duramax but they are Big bucks. This is going in a GMC Motorhome so I can't really swap out the trans unless I really get creative since it is front wheel drive. Any ideas? Thanks

Jerry

you might have a better time over at this forum for that particular question.

These guys here don't stray too far from small diesels. ;P

Do you own a Vw?

I will try the other forum. I thought the "non VW Group Diesel" was for talking about non VW Diesels. And Yes, I have 14 VW's and 4 of them are diesel.
