Ok so i switched to some crap summer tires to preserve my winters today.. i got them over the winter so i never used them.. the right rear makes an odd thumping sound that increases with speed.. but is dampened by applying the e-brake.. ALSO i stripped two and half of the four lug bolts.. i thought this might be the problem.. but if i put the other tire or a differnet tire on.. it doesn't make the sound..
AND my steering has gotten really hard to turn while going slow.. whats up with that?

pump them suckas up for the steering.
the rear tire may be damaged. Have a bulge on the inside. or be flat....
Dang man... you stripped the BOLTS or the drum?
Edit: btw, Jer, do you drive that thing for comic relief or for the cheers from the crowd cheering you to your iminent death just like a budding dare devil...

Check the balance on your thumper tire. Speed-dependent sounds that you dampen with braking, I've found, usually mean something's out of balance. Especially if it goes away if you swap it for a different tire.

I figured steering was because of psi... I thought maybe the rear had a plug i missed before i put them on.. so i checked it out.. no plug.. must be be out of balance.. and no bulge on the inside, what would this cause?
I stripped the drum apparently
when i took the bolts out they had filled in threads
gotta go down to the locla parts store and get me a new drum
Btw Ed. Lol I drive it because it is the most reliable vehicle i have ever had the pleasure to sit in
It's a real head turner
Yeah the out of balance would make sense.. if it were wiggling the drum around.. applying the brakes and centering the drum would dampen the sound... I see grass hopppah
Ps. Is my car really THAT ugly Ed? lol

 I'd roll that before a newer ricer. It probably wouldn't fall to pieces on the gravel roads I drive on. Japanese cars die fast up here.

That's usually the first thing people say about my car too.
I have some extra 180mm drums if you want them. I think the local garage charges $35 to turn them

Dirt roads where I live in The Great White North are pretty much an everyday occurrence
Lowered cars don't fair well here either.. lol
chipped skirts and plastic bumpers.. Only plastic i have on the exterior is the rear bumper
and if it gets cracked.. who cares.. just add to the look of my car

only the rear is lowered  im waiting on commuter boy to do the front struts as i don't have the right tools.
I'll go take some ^.^ I'll see if i can't get a friend over later to snap a shot of me ROASTING the tires...
Also, in BC it rarely gets cold enough to damage the roads. this year there was a tad of road damage.
