heh heh, its always the cabby everyone is interested in.
floors are rotten, driver side frame horn is out 5/8" and i've cut out the strut towers and inner fenders from firewall to rad support.
passenger door and hatch are gone. rad support and fenders are mine. no grill/rounds. top is taken.

How about the Control Pressure Regulator off the 1.8, also, the high pressure fuel pump (under the car). Would shipping to the States kill me? This is stuff I need but "cost effective" is the operative phrase here.
Thanks,
Brendan

red rabbit, yep i have the taillights from the GTI and they seem to be in pretty good shape. i didn't notice any major cracks and the reverse lenses haven't fallen off. i'm in kitchener on weekends, toronto during the week. let me know when you'd like to meet up and i'll have them with me!

Thanks for the link.....all red taillights....hmmmmmmm, I'm worried it might look a bit "pimp" for me , I'm old skool. BTW, do you have any taillights for a MK1 Jetta?, I've got an 84 gasser as well as the diesel Rabbit........BTW, wouldn't the GTI taillights you're selling fit your Black Tie Edition Rabbit or did you sell it?.....

hey there. the black tie is the one i'm driving now. the taillights on it are the small european ones though. little change i made. so i no longer have a car that uses the long US tails.
i do have a set of jetta tails too.. one has a crack though.
edit: these are the ones i'm running on my car

red rabbit: DOH! the passenger taillight had one rusty nut/bolt that spun in the plastic housing and cracked it. the driver side light is in good shape and i'll give you the passenger one with it in case you can use the reverse lens or something. bring me a coffee or something if you want them.
1984 GTI SHELL UP FOR GRABS ASAP....
its very rusty and not worth fixing in my opinion (if it was german-built i would be all over it). driver floor rotted out, rear valence bad too. some other areas of concern but those are the big two. come take it away for a case of... hmm... what am i feeling like? just not the cheap stuff.
sept 18 deadline, shell only (not much but a chunk of metal in the shape of a car). i have one local guy coming to look at it thursday. if its not gone by noon sunday i'm gonna sacrifice it to a sawzall.

i didn't cut up the GTI yesterday because i was having a nice luncheon with my family :lol:
but it will be cut up soon.. i wont sell this as a fixable car unless the person buying it is highly competant/motivated... and i doubt someone in that position would want to tackle the GTI anyway... its too far gone.
so if you need metalwork from the rabbit unibody, let me know, i'll be cutting up a 1984 2-door sunroof car very soon.

Hey BlackTie;
Is the Passat a manual tranny car? I might be looking for the shift linkage and pedal cluster. Thanks;
