• Hi, i am wondering why my idle become high and stay high when my engine is at running temp. The idle is totaly normal when i start the car.
  
  I just put a new cylinder head in and everything else looks alright.

• There is no ac.

• i think the pump just needs some tweaking.

• What do you mean tweaking? Idle screw adjustment, pump moving with the adjusting screw?

  idle screw adjustment.  although it could be too much residual... the pumps are really finnicky.

• When it's idling high, check to see if the fast idle is sticking on. It's on the back of the pump, connected to a long vertical rod.
