AHU/1Z Vs. ALH injectors

Are they different? Can the bodies go from one head to the other no problem?

i think the 1Z/AHU breaking pressures are around 180-190 bar and the ALH are around 220, correct me if i'm wrong.

I didn't know about the pressures, i'm mostly wondering about if they physically can transfer from a ALH head to a AHU.

the whole injector body? it would probably mess with the engine timing i would imagine. but the ECU should be able to compensate with the needle lift sensor.  if you have an mTDI, then you might want to adjust the static timing a little.  a lower breaking pressure will slightly advance the timing.

i have put ahu injectors in my 1Z M-tdi thay fit no prob  . 1Z 180 -190 bar , and ahu 220 bar like jtanguay said

sorry if this is a stupid question/ also for thread hijacking but what nozzles will deliver the most fuel, i meen pants loads fuel, like after market ones? and where can i buy them?

check out kermaTDI for some bosio $$$ nozzles.  alternatively the 5 cylinder 2.5TDI's should have some big nozzles on them and flow a lot of fuel...

hello, sorry i been away for a bit, been working my balls off, ive literaly not had chance to do anything to the disco 1Z, the turbo is still not fixed, i need to get rid of the carbon deposites around the VNT mechanism b4 i can drive it, also need a VNT control and gov mod :cry: i cud finish it in a day, but having a spare day is easyer said than done, doing 3 jobs and tryna get a caddy on the road to be my daily whilst breaking my old caddy, building my 2.0 supercharged TDI, fit a new bathroom whilst reping f6squared and sleeping

its a hardknock life  :(

has anyone else got a disco TDI working yet? id be intreasted to know what sort of figures to expect, im defo gona have it running for summer fest at santa pod, gona see what it can do down the quater mile, if it even makes it over the line :roll:
