cut off solenoide (Ip)
« on: March 17, 2009, 01:12:38 pm »
Hi, I am installing my injectors and stars bleeding them. I am not sure why there is no spray coming out of the ip but the gas is circulating trought the pump as i got gas coming out of the soft bleeding line when unplugged.

Any issue?

Thx

I would keep cranking it for a while. It takes a good couple minutes (cumulative, not all at once!) before you get most of the air out. If the injector return lines are flowing diesel then it's unlikely to be the solenoid, although you can quickly check to see it's getting power with a voltmeter.

I would say you still have air in the injector hard lines preventing you from reaching injector opening pressure.
