turnsignal bulb holder needed '85 Golf
« on: March 16, 2009, 08:00:36 am »
Howdy Gang,
The contacts on our bumper mounted left front turn signal bulb holder is shot. Turnsignal works but the parking light contact is corroded off
The bulb holder removes by twisting and pulling out -
The Junkyard Rabbit turnsignal I looked at don't remove by twisting the bulb holder so they will not work.

Anybody have one for sale?
thanks
hank

If you have a NAPA near you they sell replacement lamp holders. just take the old one in with you, they also have a guideline that may help. Hope this helps.
Look, if corn and kudzu fall in love and have a baby in a lab under the supervision of scientists working in my employ, WHO AM I TO STOP THAT other than the CEO responsible for stopping it???

Funny how thing turn out some time
I was getting some diesel at the gas station and asked if they had any VW's in the impound yard out back.
Turns out that they had a '86 Jetta gas with no motor that they wanted to get rid of.
So instead of just a turnsignal bulb holder I got a whole car less motor for the cost of moving it $50
more than the holder would cost but lots of extra goodies- not bad tires and rims
whoo hoo
