Yeah, my TD was originally in a rough 1985 Jetta, then I found out a friend of mine had a Rado 2.0t project sitting in his yard.  Empty engine bay, but Bilstein PSS coilovers, Wilwood brakes, etc; somebody's 70hp racecar-to-be...

85gti that is one sweet ass diesel!  I have been thinking of doing a TDI swap into my Scirocco once the motor goes.  A girl I work with is trying to track down an old friend for me.  I guess he has an '03 TDI Golf sitting in his yard, had a bad accident but she is pretty sure the motor and tranny are intact.
