Author Topic: WTB - Fuel hose for mk1 TD (Read 3761 times)

I am looking for the clear plastic line with fittings on each end for a 84 Jetta TD. It goes from the fuel filter to the injection pump. Its NLA from the dealer, only the NA version is left.

If I can't find one, I may just cut-up and and make one from an old NA one I have around here.

If you look around you can find that clear tubing, it's available. Try a plastic pipe place or a good hardware store. All you have to do is cut the old tubing off the banjo fittings and put the new stuff on. I couldn't find any to use on my Mk1 TD so I got some 1/4" air brake hose and that worked fine, but it was black not clear so I couldn't see if there was air in the line. That was the only drawback.

Crap, I should pay more attention next time. I just got my order in, but its the smaller vent hose. Guess I am doing another order.
