Hi,
It doesn't have any mounting brackets per se, but has some holes on the bottom support, and has a top rail that could be drilled.  You would have to make the brackets yourself.
I also have an MK1 caddy, and the only way I can see to mount this intercooler would be to cut the bottom radiator frame (2 in. X 23in.).  This gives you about 17 inches of height, which is the actual measurement of the intercooler.  I didn't wan to chop up my caddy, so opted to buy one that would be shorter.
I want to sell this, but don't want to mislead you.
Hope this helps,
Greg

Hey cool!
Sounds like a nice ride.
I am putting rear discs on mine from an 85 GTI and have 2 turbo's to experiment with.  I am rebuilding a 1.6td and want to start with a t2 and see how it runs out.  I started with a bad 1.5 na diesel and am looking forward to actually being able to go the speed limit with a little kick.  I have read some threads about making cheep adjustments to the injection pump for more power and plan to experiment with these also.
I've got the interior (red) looking nice, and the paint is decent, but the shop that the previos owner used to paint the car, did a horrible job of sanding aroudn the windows, so the front window, door windows and rear window are peeling around the edges.  I want to get a 2.5 " downpipe and exaust also.
Fun cars huh?
