intermediate shaft bearings

Just a quick question- When installing the back (#2) bearing into block does the oil squirter groove lead foward towards the front of engine (timing belt), or aft towards the flywheel?  The machine shop drove them out before looking and I need to clarify which way.  I think it lubes the oil pump drive gear but not enough to risk it!  Thanks

P.S.-  1.6na diesel, 1983-ish.

Not quite the same block as what your asking about but I would think they would go in the same direction

edit (again)
That's pointing to the flywheel. oiling the oil pump gear.

Hello-   I just read in the FAQ section that the oil groove specifically lubes the vacuum pump, which would face foward isnt it?  I bought this engine tore down already and bought all the boxes of parts.  So it is a bit of a puzzle without tearing it down myself.  If I remember right the #2 intermediate shaft bearing is inbetween the oil pump and vac pump.

Which way?
