Yah, theres some A2 web site that has all the paint codes and anything else MK2/A2. Check the General section or maybe the FAQ section.

Hard to tell in the dark :wink: but it looks like good ole LA6U Capri Green/Dark Teal Metallic... does it look like this in the daylight:

Look for the manufacturer's option sticker in the trunk under the floor mat... it will list the paint code as well.

Got me a dark teal metallic Jetta myself... went to the dealer expecting to get the red Jetta of my dreams but fell in love with the teal on the showroom floor.

yup thats the same colour as mine, and i figured out its dark teal green, i have a few dollar sized surface rust spots that need tending.

If you find a Canadian distributor of that paint and the clearcoat I'd love to hear (got some rust of my own)... couple of suppliers stateside but the American dollar is such a pain at the moment... and they only ship UPS. :cry:

what year is that mk1? and smokey i have some small bumper fender flares to cover that rust if you want. i cant afford to paint it completely lol, or else i would go black. Flat black im not too much of a fan of. i seen mk1 totally painted with rocker guard... i should have taken a pic it was disgusting.
