good meet folks. nice to see some of you again, and meet a couple new people. are you hosting an IDI meet soon bruce? :?:
sorry I couldn't make it, got tied up in the morning and didn't get to the west end of the city until about 2:30. Had prior commitments for the rest of the day with the inlaws. Fatherinlaw always has a brew or two in the fridge though, so the day wasn't a total loss!
Thanks to Gerry for hosting, shame I couldn't stay longer

The thought had crossed my mind. I don't have much in the way of working facilities at the moment but I have lots of parking and lawn. I'll keep everyone posted...
I'm thrilled with Andy's ride, exactly as I imagined. It has adequate power  . Hope some of you guys also got a ride, it really should be experienced. Now to build my own...
BTW, Andy and Lanny, I had one for each of you at the wedding.

...a ride...yeah, I guess you could call it that
WOW.
Yes, 'experience' would be an appropriate description
Oh and Andy, I hope the new welding held for your trip home!
Were any of you guys filling up at the sunoco on the corner of wellington and exeter road about 7:00? (pm) Saw a couple of very tidy Passat wagons while I was there, as well as a couple of other Vdubs. I was in the rusty Mk2 Jetta.....
Yep,It was a perfect day even though my down pipe flange broke off on the last run of the day .Gerrys weld is holding up well  .Gerrys tuck moves well on 22psi and I can only imagine what its like on 35 psi  .
Well, that was fun!
Short but sweet and I actually got some work done
. Thanks BlackTieTD for the use of your tools and nice to meet another Rabbit driver! (even if you have a Turbo Jetta engine in there
).
Sorry I had to take off to the Bus CampOut but that was a blast too (we had 12 Buses and a good time with more VW folks
).
Anyway, gotta make more BioDiesel. See you all again sometime!
~Scully
Mademoiselle Scully and Black Tie...
Sorry, couldn't resist, I'm kidding of course.

that good.

i think if its an IDI meet we won't need facilities as 'advanced' as gerry's. i don't know about you guys but i'm used to a lot less! let us know when you'd like to have it bruce.
i'm going to need a ride in that 'beater' of your's next time andy
Yeah,Sorry about that Lanny I guess I forgot myself .Next time you'll get a ride in my "beater".Those TDI folk did'nt know what to think of my old A2 beater/sleeper
