Hit a groundhog and it took off the black plastic body trim piece that fits on the leading edge of the passenger side rear fender well on my '86 Jetta Coupe (2 door) diesel. I didn't know it was gone until I got back from a 3 day trip. Anybody have one they would sell? I'm in WV (area code 26283) Thanks, Paul

is it the same on a 4-dr? i probably have that, would have to ship from canada though. might not be worth it. try a wreckers by where you live?

Thanks, BlackTie. No, the trim piece is model specific and the coupe is somewhat rare. I don't think I've ever seen another. Lots of 4 door A2s around (I have one), however. I'll keep hoping. My coupe only has a quarter million miles on it so it is fairly new!! Paul

ah ok then. i have a mkI jetta coupe, but not mkII. there is a nice blue mkII coupe running around in kitchener. good luck in the search!
