I parted out an 81' Rabbit, and the shell is one of the remaining items I have and want to see go down the road. Its a 2 door that was originally white and repainted red. Condition is not bad, rust in the typical spots, mostly spare tire area and a few spots along the pinch welds.
It still has all the undercarriage components, i.e., brakes, steering, suspension, fuel tank, etc. The hood, hatch back door, passenger door, and drivers door are also available.
If anyone is interested in the
whole shell, make me an offer, otherwise I'm allowing anyone to come and cannibalize it for the parts they need. Take what ever you want for $1 a pound. I'm willing to do the dirty work for anyone who may not be able to remove parts for themselves. Shipping would obviously be an additional cost.
