FS: Mk3 Jetta/Golf Keyless Entry Module (white box)
« on: February 26, 2009, 06:41:40 pm »
Was looking around today about what I had out in the garage and some clearing out I want to do...found this as I had hunted forever to find one for my b3 wagon and then sold it.  However, it'll work nicely. Works in all MK3 cars with alarm, and will work in b3/b4 with simple modification (a bridge I think).  Simply replaces the stock "silver" alarm box behind the drivers side dash vent.  Gives you the ability to have factory keyless entry without the pain of installing a aftermarket alarm.

Was tested...so I know it is working. Only thing you'll need to buy is the "banjo" remote for it and there are simple directions about how to set it up with the module.  The banjos are available all day long on ebay for 20-30 bucks. Easy easy....clean upgrade...or addition...

The first box is SOLD but searching through my parts bin of mk3 parts, etc. yielded another keyless entry box! No remote as this first one didn't either, but is in good shape and working condition.
Only difference on this one is that it does not include the "mounting bracket" as shown on the pic of the one above and the mounting screw bracket has a small piece of the plastic broken off. Purely cosmetic and the box will still mount just fine. No remote like the one above as well.

I'll let this one go for 55 shipped considering the lack of bracket and the slight tab break.
