vnt vac control vs. boost control

Gents,

I know a few of you have converted the vnt to use boost instead of vac.  (By swapping around the diaphram in the unit).  My question is has anyone done this and kept all the other electronics for the engine? How well was the n75 valve able to control the system with using boost instead of vac?  

My goal is to remove the vacuum pump.
