VW GOLF MK2 GTD - Im new to these... help?

Hi I am new to this forum and diesels...

Just bought myself a mk2 GTD. Is this the right category for me (ie IDI engine?)

If so, what can I do to cheaply increase BHP? Is there anything I can do with Little or no budget? Or am I gona have spend to get more G's?

Im keen to have a high performance GTD (with time and money) but want to no where to start...

Any help? thanks!

Congrats on your new whip, I love my car. You are correct, Indirect Injection IDI is what you're looking for...

Noticed you have some mods on yours... what sort of power are you getting? and what sort of performance?
