On behalf of *all* of us I want to publicly thank him for all the fine work he's done as your Friendly Neighbourhood Moderator... not only has he kept the conversations civil but we also have a fantastic FAQ section and very useful Buyer/Seller feedback that are a direct result of his efforts!!

Don't worry...he's not leaving....just decided to hand the keys over to someone else.

Thanks guys. I really enjoyed moderating the forum however lately I've found that a shortage of time was leaving my moderating duties unattended to. Vince was willing to step up to the plate so hats off to him.

By default the code is configured so that the first radio button under Search ("look for ANY terms") is the default, which of course means you get hundreds of results, most of which are not helpful.

There's a well-known patch to make the second button the default (search for "ALL terms")... just needs to be done to the code and Mods don't have code access.

Marc's smokin' busy so not high on his list no doubt... I'll bump the previous request for this mod but we'll just have to be patient... this is a volunteer org after all. ;-)

Yeah it has been great job that Tyler has done. I wouldn't even begin to have that kind of time.

I have also wondered about an anything else section. Maybe the general forum is where to go with it, but I was thinking a place just to talk about stuff maybe not generally related to VW...if there is such a thing. LOL. Kind of like this thread, not VW related, and wouldn't clutter up the IDI section. Maybe more for guys who wanted to share BBQ recipes with fellow dubbers. Just a thought and it might be a horrible one as the site is so great now that I wouldn't want it to change for the worse.
