Sounds like you have found the fuel screw.

LDA pin;
There are some pics floating around here somewhere, you can mod your's but just starting about 1/16" from the bottom then create a ramp.

The top of the ramp is about 1" from the bottom. I don't have one here to give you exact measurements at the moment.

Is that a gear down there in the bottom ofthe LDA and what does it do :?:  Also what do theymean about rotating the pin, it looks the same way from the picture the whole way around to me.  I've never seen a picture of one before and how the assembly and the pin work with the pumps internals. :)

if you look close you can see the different eccentric on the one side.theres a pin that rides up/down that pin which acts as a temporary "fuel screw"almost,allowing more fuel when the boost pushes on that rubber diaphram.The gear is a "star wheel"It is threaded into the lda.Its a seat for the spring ,which you can screw in or out which moves  the seat up or down,preloading the spring.

The "gear" is called the starwheel.  It adjusts the pretension on the boost spring and so determines the pressure at which the pin starts moving and delivering more fuel.  The pin is eccentrically cut.  It's not dramatically so, but it is indeed a different angle on the more and less aggressive sides of the pin.

Thanks a lot for the picture, I can see how it will make a difference now, I got a feeling I'm going to be playing with that pretty soon :D
