My frend had a KKK K26 from Mercedes 300turbodiesel in his AAZ vento and for such an old design turbo it worked great. Now i have that turbo going into my TDi.

I think that the 1.9 came with a kkk k14, but a good mod was to go with the k24? I have never even seen a 1.9 so I don't know, but I thought that was the way it is.

It could also be a K03. VW changed things up a lot between different years and markets.
A picture, as they say, is worth a thousand words. Post up a couple and I'll bet it's identified in the first 10 views.

i agree with that too. it was something like 3 times in 96 alone. mine was in feb so they may have changed it later on

On an AAZ:
square flange = K14
rectangular flange = K03
