The Tiico airboxes were imported from South Africa and seemed to be called Tiico airboxes in the US and South African airboxes elsewhere.  The Mann canister filters are actually not airboxes but some have used them for this purpose.  I actually found one already (in Maine).  I will update my profile with location but in case you're interested, I did grow up in your neck of the woods (Two Rivers, WI).
