My egt didn't even register and my gauge starts at 600!
(this was only at idle though)
The exhaust was a slight warm (it's running in this picture at temperature)
I wonder how high you could get the EGT with just an upside down downpipe! hahahaha

My IssPro EGT gauge starts at 100F....stock downpipe, exhaust, etc gives me an EGT of just under 300F at idle.... no wonder diesels take forever to warm up at idle.

I haven't ran it since. I started it today for 10 seconds just to see how it would start.
I'm still baffled and astonished that it's the same car.
it starts faster than my parents 2000 tdi.
and im not exagerating.
GPs on for 5 seconds, turn *tick* brooommmm!
I can't wait to drive it around. gotta insure it soon.
and or make a down pipe before that.. I can't get those stupid c clamps back on there and i got so angry i used a cutting wheel on one of them to make it have a wider mouth. and then forgot that the rest of the exhaust didn't have any hangers on it so it made a collosal racket.
Im just fed up with the stupid stock exhaust. i can't wait to go straight pipe.
