shutdown shudder...
« on: January 09, 2009, 08:28:22 pm »
Been up and running with the Zuki TDI Sidekick for a while now....runs nice!

I do have a bit of a problem with the way it shuts down......when I turn off the key, the engine comes to a seemingly abrupt shutdown which shakes the car pretty good.

Timing is set at 1.05mm at TDC, other than that not sure what could be the issue....maybe that's just the way it is?

Thanks!

its a good sign of compression IMO.  i'm assuming that you don't have the anti shudder valve that all TDI's have, right? (it's more associated with EGR than anti shudder though)
