I'm itching to start my kinda* new engine and i want to do a warm up cool down to re-torque the head.
My exhaust isn't done yet so i took the hood off and i want to make a single zoomy off the upside down downpipe. Would anyone wanna see pics of that?

hahahah
My only hesitation is that it hasn't stopped raining here  and i'd rather not get everything in there soaked....
But i also don't feel like running the car in the garage. I will however if it doesn't work. (ie. I messed up somewhere and my work and $$$ goes *FLUUUSSSHHH*)
*(new head, new rings and bearings)

naw, im not going to buy anything. it's just a gimmick to warm it up and cool down (or more over get the pump to work properly and hopefully achieve reliable starting.)
But this rain just doesn't want to let up. I don't want to put it in the rain and i don't want to take any pics/videos unless it's running

more dramatic that way.

No no no, like i dont want the bare engine and battery and wireing and just ... everything! to be out in the rain...
It's been just pouring outside...
All i did was take the hood off and put the down pipe on upside down

I want a good pic of thick black soot coming out of it and just blowing over the windshield! but its dumping out side...

I did that for a while, the downpipe sits just below the hood, you can close it with the downpipe upside down, I had an old ***ty hood and I cut a hole in it super cool with the smoke blowing out from the hole in the hood, but the bacon didn't think it was quite as awesome.

I have always thought it would be awesome to run the exhaust so that you have a straight pipe that comes straight up behind the hood on the passenger side. It would need to be chromed and it would require one of those flaps.
Would there be room for a muffler without ridiculous routing?

hahhahah room for a muffler? there would be rediculous re-routing just to get it to the other side.
That is SO .... f***ing awesome that you drove it like that truckinwagen

yep, that was in my dark days when I was fighting with my exhaust system, it kept breaking and *** like that.
I got angry, cut a hole in my hood and went with it. I came to my senses in a few days though, I was having serious doubts already when I got pulled over.
the cop told me he wasn't going to give me a ticket because he hadn't laughed so hard in years, he did tell me to get it fixed or I would get nailed to the wall though.
ah, the stupidity of youth! (wait that was just last year)

LMAO!!!!!!
Hahahahahhahahah!
I think we'd be good friends
I effed up somewhere....
I can't get power to the dash?... i turn the key and no lights turn on
it doesn't crank...
the lights switch doesn't turn on any lights....
What did i forget? ... Now it's in the drive way in the rain... i threw the hood back on it. I connected everything up... If the fan is wired wrong will that cut power to everything? I may have the wires to the shroud wrong.......
I thought the battery was dead so i grabbed a little solid wire i had lying around... nope... definately not dead...
