Im trying to get the lda to limit a little more fuel when off boost. It seems sometimes like it isnt functioning.I have a t3 on it now,and ill see smoke till im making 10-15 psi.Theres a very fine line(between smoke and power) with my 10mm.I know the full load will override the lda if turned up to much.Maybe raise the smoke screw?Im trying to burn the extra fuel or limit it till i get up to pressure.SO my question is with the lda cover off:if you press down on the diaphram when idling shouldnt it raise the rpm?Or does it need the flyweights to be pushing to engage the collar plate?

yes if you push down it should simulate boost, and therefore enrichment.
Not sure about that... On my pump anyways there isn't any tension on the feeler unless the accelerator lever is moved... Try looking down the bore with the boost pin removed, the feeler is retracted in to the pump body. Press the accelerator lever and it 'pops' out to press against where the boost pin would be if it were installed.
Note you'll have to push it back with a small screwdriver to get the boost pin in again after you do this...
the flyweights are pressing on that same plate, correct?Ive pushed down on it while running and theres no change. Can anyone verify this as correct function or lack there of?

That is one of the best diagrams I have ever seen. That foot that is on the go pedal is one of the most accurate feet on this forum that isn't real.
Just kidding that is amazing that you have so many helpful tools for us all.
bump,so can someone verify this?(pushing down on the diaphram will cause an icrease in idle).
i'm pretty sure it won't do anything till you have a load on it!
like driving and spooling the turbo! you know what i mean?
but the person to ask Ben would be Martin (Tintin)

Ive got the pin maxed right now,and the star wheel is in its stock position.I can see where the guide is riding on the pin,but i may still have to turn the max fuel down.
