FS/FT: 1991 jetta 4 door diesel

1991 Volkswagen Jetta diesel with 219,xxx miles. Its a four door 5 speed car with AC/Heat. It has a manual sunroof that does NOT leak. Four doors with all four working door handles. All four of the windows are maunal and work great. Everything works and is in good condtion. It has new headlights and newer belts and a new water pump. Also a new OEM VW head and timing belt with about 20,000 miles on it. It has a oil pan and block heater for cold mornings. It starts awesome in the morning even when its below 32 degrees. It also has newer brakes. The interior is clean and only a small rip in the driver seat that is almost not noticeable. The exterior is pretty clean for its age with only a couple dents and scratches. Only one dent that is really noticeable where some paint is missing But still looks good. I waxed the paint and it is still really shinny. It also has newer wheel bearings. The trunk stays dry in the Oregon weather. It runs great and has a new exhaust that flows a lot better. The clutch is brand new as of august 2009.

UPDATED: I just put in a new front motor mount, engine rod bearings, oil pan gasket, fuel filter, rear wheel seals, new injectors, coolant elbow from head to upper radiator hose, new coolant, updated windsheild wiper switch, plus more!

For 200K the rod bearings that i took out looked great. I just did them because i was going to turbo the car and keep it but then I decided not to turbo it but still wanted to do the bearings because i already bought them.


I love the car just want a different VW.

I may be willing to trade for my caddy. Its a yellow 81 caddy that I recently converted to diesel. I also still have the 16v that I took out of it a couple months ago. The caddy only has 128k on the odo and is in great shape with a 2.5" drop all the way around, new bushings, plaid interior, etc.. PM me if interested for pics

Conditions sucked today. Although I feel they give a good idea of what the car looks like. The Red is Red and the Black is Black in pretty good condition for being 20 years old with 200k.
