bought a gt2052v..now what?
« on: December 26, 2008, 01:55:49 pm »
i know i have to do the exhaust and redo the oil lines but what else?

i don't think it would stay in a position were the outlet point in the right position...
do i need to adjust the geometry or other things?
and what about doing the vacuum»pressure conversion on the can?
the pics are all dead...can anyone bring them again?

thanks

Open the can, flip the spring to other side and put it together. Klik

I liked it very much, I“d recommend it :) Spools faster than stock T3 and is good to ~170-180hp in IDI.

So are you running that turbo without a mechanical connection to the throttle to yank on the vanes initially during acceleration? (like Libbybapa, Tintin & others...) From your post it sounds like you are using the vanes & the reversed actuator sort of like a wastgate to open and control boost with boost pressure with the vanes closed at idle. If so then isn't there a chance of huge pressure surges & if the line pops off no "safe mode" for the turbo where the vanes default to open & no boost?
